Show appreciation for our pioneers

Greetings friends! I first want to state that this is a personal post and NOT a congregational post.
A few of us are wanting to show our appreciation to our dear pioneers and want to give each of them an appreciation gift to give to them on the day of their annual pioneer meeting which will be held on December 25th. But we know there are others who might also like to voluntarily pitch in to show their appreciation for their efforts in taking the lead in the ministry in our congregation. But to make it easier to accept donations since not everyone has an app to send money, and to minimize physical interactions due to Covid-19; we thought we would use Go Fund Me to accept voluntary donations.
We have 22 pioneers which is fantastic! However; that also means that if we want to get them even a modest gift, it will take a somewhat sizeable amount of money. But if several pitch in, this will help offset the expense. So while we have set a goal, if we go past that goal, it will just mean that we can share with our pioneers a even nicer gift.
That being said, just because you were sent this invitation, please do not at all feel obligated to contribute. Please only contribute if you both want to do so, and you are in a position to do so without causing a hardship on you or your family. Thank you very much for your time and attention to this matter.
