Writing this is incredibly difficult for me. I’ve always tried to handle things quietly and on my own, but right now I’m in a place where I need to ask for help.

I’m facing an upcoming shoulder replacement surgery that is medically necessary. Over time, the pain and loss of function in my shoulder have reached a point where even everyday tasks-and my ability to work-have become increasingly difficult. After trying every conservative option available, surgery is the only path forward to regain function and prevent further damage.

While insurance will cover part of the procedure, there are still significant out-of-pocket costs, including deductibles, coinsurance, imaging, medications, physical therapy, and time away from work during recovery. As someone who works from home and helps run a small business with my husband, this recovery period will directly impact our household income at a time when stability matters most.

This surgery represents hope for relief, mobility, and the ability to show up fully for my family again - but the financial weight of it is overwhelming.

Any funds raised will go directly toward:

• Medical and surgical costs not covered by insurance

• Post-operative physical therapy and recovery supplies

• Medications and follow-up care

• Essential living expenses during the recovery period
