Shot in the head by random robber.

Every time Camile Hamilton looks into the mirror, she is reminded of the night she was shot in the head in a random act of violence. The scars left remind her of the night she also lost her only child, 15-year-old Nekitta, her best friend Faith Bisasor and Faith’s son Davion. The lone survivor of a triple homicide, Camile still cannot comprehend why a total stranger would pick the Miramar home she was residing in, to rob and attempt to kill four innocent people. That night in August 2009 still haunts her emotionally, as well as physically. Camile has suffered significant medical problems. She lost the hearing in her left ear and also a portion of her vision in her left eye. She has undergone at least 14 surgeries. Many of which have not been covered by insurance. Camile needs one more surgery to help correct issues with her jaw, so she can chew and eat normally. Although Camile’s wish would be to have her daughter back, she knows that could never be granted. However, the surgery that she needs will at least lessen the physically pain, financial strain, and the scars she sees when looking in the mirror. The surgery Camile is asking for is not for cosmetic purposes. She may never regain the hearing in her left ear, but what she is hoping for is to ease the pain she feels in the left side of face. Camile has a good heart and tries her best to provide for herself the best she can. She currently works taking care of elderly patients. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
