Shot by LAPD at Peaceful Protest — Help Me Heal & Survive
Donation protected
I never thought I’d have to write something like this…
On June 14, 2025, I was leaving the area and crossing the street near the peaceful protests in downtown LA when I was shot by LAPD with a rubber bullet. I wasn’t provoking anyone. I wasn’t resisting. I was just trying to leave before curfew and they shot me.
Even while I was on the ground bleeding, they kept shooting at me.
The bullet shattered my right arm (my dominant arm). I’m a tattoo artist. It’s how I survive. I haven’t been able to work since.
I was rushed to the hospital and had to stop everything: work, income, life. I lost my car because I couldn’t afford it anymore. And because I had no transportation, I had to longboard just to get basic necessities, which led to another injury.
I tore my ACL and flipped my meniscus. I needed emergency knee surgery. So now, on top of a broken arm, I can’t walk either.
I’m trying to stay strong, but I need help.
I’m raising money to cover:
• Medical bills for both injuries
• Physical therapy and recovery
• Rent and basic expenses while I can’t work
• A portion will also be donated to families affected by ICE during this time
I’ve never done this before, but I need support and I want people to know what happened.
If you can donate or share, I’d be beyond grateful. Anything helps. Thank you <3
