On Thursday, 9/10 between 9:00 pm - 9:43 pm, my brother was shot while he and his teenage friends were being mugged and his car was stolen on Suncrest Ave. off Berryessa Rd. San Jose, CA.

He was hospitalized , had to undergo surgery and is on the road to a long recovery. We praise God for the protection and favor over his life. 

It's been 4 days since the incident and there are still no leads. We are beginning to feel like the sj police are not taking this seriously.

This is for my 17 year old brother who was shot and robbed on Suncrest. He will barely be a senior this school year, he's a good kid with good grades, and a job. He will be graduating this year. This is a time in our lives that we should be enjoying, our teenage years. Unfortunately for my brother, he won't be able to enjoy much as his road to recovery will be a long and hard one. He is still a kid and shouldn't have had to go through this type of crime. Most of us go our entire lives never experiencing this type of trauma. And until this happened to my brother, i never thought about it either. This incident will be embedded in his memory for the rest of his life. And although it will take him quite some time to heal physically, it won't be so easy mentally or emotionally. This was definitely an eye opener for me and my family.
