Shorty & Sandy are a much loved and respected couple in the coast. They are the parents of 4 beautiful kids and have an Incredibly blessed and strong marriage. They always put everyone else first and have given so much to our community. Sandy was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2018 and has been fighting so bravely since. She is still going through chemo which has taken its toll on them both in different ways. She is such a strong woman who will never give up and Shorty has been right by her side every step of the way. Very recently Shorty himself was rushed to hospital with severe chest pains. The doctors have discovered that he has  a ruptured bowel and is now in ICU and is being monitored closely by doctors. Those who know him know that he just wants to be by his wife’s side while she goes through chemo treatments but he now has his own health battle to face. This has placed even greater levels of strain on the family, especially financially now that neither of them can work. These beautiful people have done so much for so many people over the years and it’s now time for us as a community to give back to them in a much needed time.
