Short-term support for Suzanne and Michael

We hope you will consider a donation to help our dear friends Suzanne Morrell and Michael Alban. You may have heard that on January 25th Suzanne suffered a sudden stroke due to an AVM in her brain. This all took place while she was visiting her parents, so she is currently in an ICU in Florida recovering from this acute, traumatic event. She will likely be in the ICU for several more weeks and then move into a rehab facility. Luckily, she survived and is improving everyday; and, while nobody can predict the future, her team of doctors is hopeful she will continue on this path to recovery. Part of that recovery involves Michael temporarily relocating to Florida for several months to support Suzanne. Suzanne and Michael have lived in the Palisades neighborhood of DC for years. Suzanne serves as a board member of the community association (PCA) and Michael is an actor who teaches music to dozens of youth in our area.

 

The money raised through this GoFundMe will be used by Michael and Suzanne to help with relocation costs, rent, unexpected short-term expenses, new equipment Suzanne may need for recovery, etc. Many people have asked how they can help, and donating to this GoFundMe is one of those ways.
