This film tells the story of a family divided by silence and trauma. It’s not a story of violence, but one of the emotional wounds caused by abusive cops. When one family member speaks out about abusive police, it causes separation and devastation because the truth is too difficult to understand. An epidemic that exists but is almost impossible to prove in a court of law, and even harder to talk about, as it triggers deep emotional responses in those surrounded by police.

The funds I’m seeking will go toward producing a film that’s worthy of being shared in film festivals, with the hope of spreading awareness. It’s a story that has the potential to touch hearts and raise important questions.

I’ve always felt a deep calling to advocate for education and awareness about issues that affect our communities. Education brings understanding, compassion, and love—qualities that are so needed today. Through this film, I want to create a space where people can feel the emotions behind social issues, understand where they stem from, and, ultimately, begin the healing process. The genre of edutainment—education through entertainment. It is not just about telling a story, but about telling the the struggle and communities face.
