Sometimes life hands you killer years!
That’s what got me here. In the last 15 months I have survived more life altering experiences than I thought possible.
Recovering from the onset of fibromyalgia, and a soul gutting separation, I decided that moving home, and taking a chance at an amazing relationship, was the best choice for me.
Within two moths of leaving Philidelphia, my appendix burst. Visiting family in California, the ruptured appendix was missed by the hospital staff. I got a bag a saline and clearance to fly. 72 hours later I had the privilege of being shoved into the back of a medical helicopter, to rush me to a Baltimore trauma hospital for a heart attack.
It took 3 months with a drain in my side to become strong enough to have the hole in my digestive track surgically closed. About this time changes started happening in my relationship.
Thinking more space, and a change of pace, would be a good idea all around, we moved Columbia, MD in July. Where I’ve spent the last bit watching a beautiful relationship die slowly and ultimately end. Still waiting for my disability hearing, seeing a veritable hoard of doctors to win the disability case, and having no ability to leave, has left us all in a though spot. Naturally resentments arise, and the dynamic has become untenable.
At this point I find myself a month from my hearing with disgruntled pirates and partners, ready to be done housing the ex.
My search for a new living situation was seriously sidetracked by a terrifying MRSA infection that almost cost me my toe. Recovery from the surgery on my foot has slowed my exit further, and the resentment has grown. I was informed that they would like me out post haste.
It’s a toxic situation all the way around, but I do not have the income to fix any of it. I’ve done everything I can do, except ask for help.
So here I am. Please help! What ever you can do is wildly helpful. Thanks!
Mallory
