Short term help after our building burned down

Hi, my name is Eleonora; I'm a professional harpist and music teacher based in San Francisco, CA.

You might have heard from the news that on April 4th at 8:30 pm, a fire broke out in an apartment in the 400 block of Upper Terrace in San Francisco. The fire seriously affected and damaged our apartment.

Luckily everyone in the complex escaped physically unharmed. Unfortunately, we have lost our beloved home due to the damages from the fire's aftermath. We are currently in a hotel room for a couple of nights, and in a few days, we will be homeless.

We don't know yet when we'll be able to get back into the apartment, probably not earlier than a year from now.

 

Even with two salaries, you probably know how hard it is to find housing in San Francisco, especially affordable housing on short notice.

We are creating this GoFundMe page to raise funds to help us relocate and replace our belongings for the next months.

Anything helps; even just sharing this link might help us find housing or raise the funds we need to relocate.

 

Our starting goal is to cover the following expenses we will be facing in the next months.
