We are a team of university students working on a short series with 5 episodes, each approximately 20 minutes long. We aim to produce our pilot episode by the end of March and have all 5 episodes scripted and ready for production.

The tone of voice we aim to portray is uneasy, paranoid, uncanny valley, with sharp, ironic humour.

Logline: Five university students end up in a scripted world, where people are gradually “NPC-ified”. As they fight to stay conscious and human, they uncover that they are turning into NPCs and try to find a way to escape.

You can expect reality-bending paranoia, a satirical look at conformity, and horror rooted in existential dread. They use humour to cope with their situation.

The horror is subtle, creepy and unsettling rather than jump-scares and scary visuals.

The funds we receive will be used to support our actors' travel and food expenses, as well as get any needed props.
