Keen on a warm little feeling in your heart and the justifiable right to call yourself a patron of the arts?
We’re raising funds for God has a Telephone, a psychological thriller/black comedy by emerging writer/director Cameron A. Clear (in his own words, a washed, useless, stupid, lazy hack who needs to be put down like a rabid dog), telling a story of religious guilt, loss, and grief from his uniquely personal (and morbidly funny) perspective.
When troubled and mildly neurotic good little Christian boy Charlie begins to question his faith, he makes a bet with his two best friends — Martin, a devout, guiding-light Catholic, and Jack, a foulmouthed but loyal agnostic — on who can prove God’s existence first; but when unexpected tragedy strikes, things take a turn for the extreme.
Our film aims to explore depression, anxiety and grief through the eyes of a realistically flawed and unreliable narrator whose perception and reality can often mean two starkly different things.
All funds raised will go towards essential production requirements such as equipment rental and keeping cast and crew fed and healthy, so we’re able to achieve the absolute best final product we can.
God Has a Telephone is scheduled for production in Q3 2025.
