Hi, I'm Taj, producer of 'How Do You Fix a Cracked Pumpkin', to be directed by Nathan Alder and projected for filming in October!

About us:
We are a dedicated team of film students from Swinburne University, currently in the process of creating our major short film project for the year. Fundamentally this film is about moving from inactivity seeking friendship, waiting and expecting others to care and look out for you. Too becoming the person who activity notices others who feel discarded and caring for them first. Becoming the friend, you always wanted others to be for you.

About the Project:
Freya a lonely senior age women begins attending social art still life classes for retirees, with the vain hope, a loving community will come and take her in. However, upon going unnoticed she decides to take matters into her own hands, through building a strange yet charming community of whimsical imaginary characters made from the discarded fruit and vegetables. Seemingly quirky and harmless on the surface a foul decay festers beneath as hollow substitutes can never last.

If its lasting company she truly seeks, Freya must realize she can't just wait for others to initiate friendship. She must become the one who notices and looks out for others first.

How will your donation help?
Donations will go towards these key production costs: full catering for cast and crew, transport cover, set design/costuming & makeup, location hire fees.
Anything additional or left over will go towards film festival entry fees, allowing us to spread the viewership of the final film and recognition of cast and crews hard work towards its creation.
We're committed to giving our all to bring this story to life and we love your help. Contribution of any size, whether it covers a small portion of the onset catering or covers location hires fees, genuinely is greatly appreciated.

Donors will receive a special THANK YOU in the end credits. As a special thanks, donations of $50 and over will receive a unique digital artwork with a custom message featuring the films characters like that of the thumbnail image. I would be happy to make that for you.

Finally, thank you for considering supporting us in the project!
