Hello!

My name is Callum Adaway and I am the Writer, Director and Marketer of Echelon, a short film being made for our final major project at the University of Winchester.

Set four months after the collapse of society Echelon follows Cole, a young carpenter seperated from his newly married wife Hannah. As he struggles to navigate a brutal world changed by the outbreak, the hope of finding her remains one of the few things that keeps him believing a little longer.

When Cole finds himself inside Echelon, a mysterious organisation promising safety and stability in a world that has lost both, he begins to uncover a system built around order and control. After discovering evidence that Hannah may still be alive within the organisation, Cole has a reason to continue searching.

With the help of Iris, a fellow survivor who has spent a month inside Echelon; Cole begins to search for answers in a place where information is highly restricted and comes at a cost.

In development since September 2025, our short film 'Echelon' has been carefully developed going through multiple rewrites, developing the wider narrative, the characters whilst considering the factors of how we can translate this vision believably within a estimated runtime of 25-30 minutes.

We're raising money to turn everything that has been developed on paper into a physical production. Your donations will help us cover: Production Design, Locations, Props, Costumes, Makeup, Transport, Catering, Post-Production and Film Festival submissions.

The film has been in development for a while now as we prepare for this final module on our course, and now we have the opportunity to make it!

Whether you are able to donate or share our campaign, you're helping us get there.

Thank you for supporting Echelon.
