I write as USA Today Best Selling author, Amarie Avant., and whether I'm penning romantic suspense, dark romance, or contemporary stories, I always write about strong, empowered black women. My best selling story, DEVIL IN HER BED, is a thrilling, insane ride, where the once thriving business owner, Siobhan Lowe has her live overwhelmed by a nameless stranger.

One reader said, "This story tells about what goes on in the mind of a stalker. I literally had to stop reading this book so my heart rate could return to normal, and give my brain some time to recover."

 

Few films feature the inclusion of successful black women, which is sorely lacking in the entertainment industry, and therefore, I am inspired to make this story a success. While the book appealed to a predominantly female demographic in the 24-60 age range, this 1short film attracts male and female viewers who appreciate series such as YOU and Mindhunter.
