What if the 65+ crowd, with all of their wisdom, patience and free time are exactly what our wounded planet needs right now?

Hello! We are filmmakers creating an inspiring documentary series about amazing retirees who use their time and freedom to give back to the planet.

The first film we want to create is about John Pemble and Ian Sinclair and about how they are dedicated to weeding on Lord Howe.

The film will document the island and the important work that Ian Hutton has done to enable volunteers to restore the habitat on this remote location.

It's a film about dedication, love and weeding.

The film will be used to inspire other retirees into booking Eco tours and showcase to other people that with dedication and great volunteers, a natural habitats can be restored.

This won't be just their story, it's a blueprint for how retirement could become our most impactful chapter.

The filmmaker and producer are donating their time and fees.

The budget for the film is $14,500
This includes travel expenses for an all female crew of cinematographer, director and producer for 3 full days filming.
The cost includes gear and payment of the cinematographer.
The costs of post-production are not included as they will be absorbed by the filmmaking team.
