Shooter's broken leg surgery

My name is Charlie Pace and I just graduated from SUNY Brockport in December 2016. This
past Sunday, 3/5/17, I went to the Brockport lacrosse game with my 3 1/2 month old puppy, Shooter. While holding him, descending the snow-covered bleachers, I slipped and fell and landed on poor Shooter. The result was a very bad break to his upper hind leg. We rushed him to an emergency vet care facility in Rochester, New York. After an examination it was determined that shooter needed either extensive surgery (with plates and screws) or the leg needed to be amputated. I opted for the surgery to save the leg so shooter can have a more normal life. Unfortunately, the surgery is very expensive so I am posting this gofundme to ask for donations to help finance this procedure. Even if you don't donate, sharing this post could be useful.
