The BOLD Delta Kappa Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. is hosting its 3rd annual Miss Omega Psi Phi Scholarship Pageant on November 7, 2025. It serves to recognize and uplift collegiate women who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership in their community, creativity, and community service. The pageant also serves as a fundraiser, with each contestant raising money for their pageant journey and to support their platform throughout the year.

I’m Shondalon Hoffler — a proud third-year Exercise Science and Kinesiology major at the illustrious Georgia State University, and yes… contestant number five.

I know by now u can tell. Just by my aura, my attitude, my ambition alone just screams I’m so ATL, baby I’m so ATL!

BUT ON A SERIOUS NOTE..

This brotherhood says, ‘Friendship is essential to the soul.’ My friendship — one that was essential to me — was taken from me far too soon.

My dear friend, Javeon Dukes, lost his life to gun violence at the young age of 19

His story is why I refuse to be silent. His story is why I will continue to speak up and push for stronger gun laws.

That is why my platform is voter registration, education, and mobilization aligning my efforts with the Black Voters Matter Fund Because silence will not save us — but our votes can.

So as i write this message to all you lovely people I do so unapologetic, as contestant number five. Because greatness doesn’t just arrive — greatness lives in five. The crown of Miss Omega Psi Phi? It’s mine. So come help donate to Shondalon Hoffler — your five-star contestant number five!
