Our shoe drive, Traveling on a Shoestring is a way to connect travel and shoes together. Our thoughts are, we are providing a way for children to move from one place to another, traveling by foot as they walk, jump, skip, run and climb. Wearing shoes keeps them safe from diseases and protects them from the elements. Shoes gives children confidence and builds their character. We would hope that this shoe drive would make an impact with all those things, but with each child that receives a pair of shoes hopefully they will receive at least one thing that will assist them with a better life.
