Shocks My Brain Surgery Recovery Fund for Maggie

Hello, Fellow Friends and Family of Maggie Evans aka Maggie May,

My name is Amy Buscemi and I am raising funds on behalf of our beloved Maggie who is going through some unexpected medical trauma as a result of brain aneurysms that were discovered when she recently suffered a concussion.

Everyone who knows Maggie considers her a favorite - favorite friend, favorite dancer, and favorite music enthusiast! She is very much in need of us to come together collectively to successfully help her get through this.

When we hear the words brain surgery and know the person undergoing it, a sheer feeling of terror comes upon most if not all of us. Maggie is terrified not only for her health but also for how she is going to make it through this financially. The stress of it all can affect her recovery and put her at greater odds for fatality.

Being a gig worker as a stagehand has no benefits for her to take advantage of during this unfortunate circumstance, and has left her without income and eager to get back to work. Maggie not only has to recover from her recent surgery but also the much more invasive one to come in April that is going to put her out of work for 2-3 months. Maggie’s job, which she loves with all her heart is demanding and rigorous in many ways causing a return too soon to become dangerous. As of now, she has been unable to return against her will.

So please, every little bit anyone can give will collaboratively help Maggie through this challenging series of events without the stress that comes along with associated lost wages, not to mention the potential consequences of trying to push oneself back to work too soon.
