Crystal's family needs your help

Crystal Jackman-Kindle was a student of mine while I was teaching at Greenfield Community College. She is an extraordinary young woman, smart and is determined to improve her life circumstances by returning to college to become a social worker. Coming from difficult circumstances, she is a compassionate and dedicated person who has come very far. While at GCC, she immersed herself in activities outside of her classes and is seen as a leader on campus.
She needs our help right now. Her 14 year old daughter was recently hospitalized with migraine headaches and other undiagnosed issues. Crystal was visiting with her and she called her husband, who she quickly realized was having a stroke. She called 911 immediately and saved his life but he has been seriously compromised and is not able to function on his own. He is currently in rehab but the prognosis is poor for any meaningful recovery.
As a result, she has been unable to work during this period, as an Americorps worker and in her cleaning business. The bills are stacking up and she just needs a small sum to tide her and her family over until she can return to work. The need is immediate.
It is very difficult for Crystal to ask for help and I would be grateful for any help she can receive. I can attest to her character and her need right now. I know that she will be eternally grateful for this help as well.
