Help Save Shizu: Urgent Vet Care Needed!

Hi everyone,

Shizu is in urgent need of medical care after being taken to the emergency vets on Sunday morning when she was struggling to breathe. After a load of tests they found some abnormalities with her stomach, lungs and heart and referred her to the Queen Mother Hospital Royal Vetinary College so she can be seen by specialists. She is typically baffling the vets there, and has since had some more x-rays and a CT scan. The results have made them decide to focus on the lungs and tomorrow morning she will be having general anesthetic for a lung wash (very technical name).

The vet bills are quickly adding up, as of this evening the initial emergency vet care was just over £2500 with an estimate for the RVC currently at £6500, after the initial £5000 estimate. Any help however small would be appreciated beyond words.
