KSMY is an organisation that started out in East Africa in 1940 run by local community members under the guidance and blessing of Pujya Hirji Bapa of Nakuru, Kenya. Its activities have continued in the UK since the 1970’s.
In its pursuit of the below objectives, KSMY Seva Trust UK is formally forming as a charity and looking to hold a number of events every year like Maha Shivratri.
The Maha Shivratri celebrations at VHP Ilford Hindu Centre on 22 February 2020 mark the first event of KSMY Seva Trust UK. A charitable organisation whose objectives are:
- The advancement of Sanatan Dharma and the Hindu way of life
- The advancement of Hindu culture and the arts
- Relief of poverty, and improving child and animal welfare in the UK as well as abroad.
