My sister Shirley passed away after a 32-day battle in the ICU. Shirley suffered a cardiac arrest on November 23, during which her heart stopped for 40 minutes. Despite the unwavering love and prayers of her family and friends, she is no longer with us.

Shirley was a devoted wife for 21 years and a loving mother to five children, aged 6 to 20. Her husband, Edvando, a self-employed truck driver, is facing overwhelming challenges. Their truck—the family’s only source of income—requires R$22,000 ($3,694 USD) in urgent repairs. Additionally, their home has significant water damage, and the children’s bedrooms remain unfinished.

We are working to raise R$50,000 (approximately $8,268 USD) to help Shirley’s family rebuild their lives after this tragedy. The funds will be used to:
