Dear friends and family,

This GoFundMe was created by friends of Brandon "Baba" Wilson on his behalf. On Thursday, December 7th, Shirley Wilson aka "Bubba" died peacefully, with dignity and on her terms, after a hard-fought battle with liver and lung cancer. She was 63 years young and was surrounded by her family and partner.

If you know Brandon, you know how much his Bubba meant to him. She raised him since childhood and is the reason he is the sweet, kind, selfless, upstanding man we all know and love today. Brandon often says that they saved each other <3. Anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Bubba whether in person or by FaceTime knows what a vivacious, spicy, funny and loving woman she was.

In the wake of this loss, Shirley's life partner of 17-years, Shannon, and Brandon are faced with the daunting task of arranging a proper farewell and handling of her final affairs. We are reaching out to you, our extended family and friends, to humbly request your assistance in raising funds for her funeral expenses, bills and short-term help with living expenses for Brandon and Shannon during this difficult time.
