Shirley Shepherd Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Shirley Jean Shepherd was born in Galena, Kansas on September 17th, 1937 and entered Heaven’s gates peacefully surrounded by family in the early morning of January 18th, 2019.
A loving pastor's wife and mother, Shirley was a remarkable organist and enjoyed singing and playing music with her beloved husband of 55 years. Together they pastored in the heart of Sacramento, CA and shared their love of Jesus and people with many who walked through their doors.
Shirley was predeceased by her loving husband Don Shepherd, son-in-law George, and grandson Justin. She is survived by her children Randy Shepherd and his wife Linda, Starla Kenan and her husband Beau, Trish Moser, and Crystal Shepherd along with their families including nine grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren (one of which being her "Jazzy", Jazzabella, the only person to be allowed in "God's room").
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, January 26th at 10:00 a.m. at the North Sacramento Funeral Home.
In lei of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to help cover memorial and medical expenses, and continue the work of Heritage Ministries. All gifts will be tax deductible and greatly appreciated by all affected by this great loss as we honor the legacy that was Shirley's life.
