This is Shirley Palmer. She has been battling cancer now for over three years. First was a hysterectomy over three years ago and we were hoping that it would be better. Over the past couple of months she has been in and out Maury regional for progressive failing health. She went in for emergency gallbladder surgery in September and after being sent home, her health was failing. After being readmitted doctors told us she has stage 4 stomache cancer and it's spreading rapidly. The fluid from her stomache is pushing on her lungs to where she cannot breathe. Doctors have an estimate of two weeks to live. We are asking for donations to help with the medical bills, funeral expense and as well as her husband having to miss work and drive back and forth from Lawrenceburg to Columbia.
