It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Shirley Fulton. A beloved mother, grandmother, friend, and a beacon of light to all who knew her, Shirley bravely battled cancer for over a year, only to be taken from us due to a post-surgery infection.  Born in Paonia where she spent most of her life, Shirley was the heart of our community. Her love for her hometown was unmatched, and it is only fitting that she wished to be laid to rest here. She spent her life giving to others, and now it's our chance to give back to her. We are raising funds to ensure that Shirley gets the farewell she deserves in the place she loved so much. The funds will be used to cover the costs of her burial and memorial service. We want to honor Shirley's life and legacy in a way that reflects the love she had for us and for Paonia. We will be announcing the date of the service soon.
