This is a fundraiser on behalf of the Brackett/ Kanda/ Bennett family, in response to the passing of Shirley Brackett. All proceeds will be directly deposited to Sabrina Kanda.

On November 20, 2021, Shirley graduated from this life, and is now dancing in Heaven with our Heavenly Father. Shirley passed away from complications resulting from COVID pneumonia. This fundraising effort has been requested by many who love this family. Those who know Shirley, Sabrina, and Stacy are aware of the financial strain. We believe Shirley is eligible for reimbursement of funeral costs through the FEMA Assistance Program. Funds from this effort will be used to cover anything above what FEMA will cover, and other incidentals that are sure to arise.

Though our hearts are devastated by our loss on this side of Heaven, we find comfort and hope knowing that Shirley is rejoicing, free of any pain, filled with absolute peace in the presence of God. Shirley was a beautiful woman who loved greatly, and was greatly loved by all who were privileged to meet and know her. Her smile brightened any room, her loving encouragement lifted countless hearts, and her dedication to family was simply unmatched. The news of her passing is unfathomable, and together we grapple with the immense feeling of loss and grief. Though we know the "right words" are impossible to find, the great outpouring of love and support from friends, family, and the community continues to bring great comfort and healing.
