Shirley Ann Harris Memorial

My Mother's passing although expected caught my Son and I at a disadvantage because it was sudden.  My Mother told us not to go to a fuss for her but, it wasn't because she didn't want a nice funeral it was because she knew she didn't have enough insurance to do so and she was too embarrassed to tell us. We need our Elders to do a better job of communicating with their family and we as their Children/Caregivers must do a better just with making them feel safe and comfortable in order to do so.  Unfortunately,  for us my Mother did begin enlightening us to who she really was and why she behaved in the manner in which she did until is was far too late.

Therefore, i'm humbly asking for your assistance in helping us give our loved one a Dignified Homegoing.
