My wife and I are both nurses in the United States, specializing in diabetes and wound care. For many years, my wife has had a deep love for Ukraine—she’s worked in child orphanages and with cancer patients in the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster. Together, we have become strong advocates for the Ukrainian people, and our long-term dream is to relocate there and help rebuild the nation by establishing a mobile wound clinic to serve villages and small towns for free.

Over the past three years, we have collected a garage full of donated medical supplies from doctors, offices, hospitals, and other medical facilities. These supplies range from simple gauze to complex surgical equipment and life-saving equipment. Additionally supportive products for ostomy care and castings for patients are included here too. Until now, we have paid for all shipping costs ourselves, but the volume of supplies we’ve gathered has grown beyond our means to send on our own.

The ongoing war in Ukraine has made the need for these supplies even more urgent. Hospitals can receive a truckload of supplies, only to have them destroyed within weeks by bombardments. The funds we raise here will help us cover the shipping costs so we can continue sending these critical supplies to Ukrainian hospitals and donation centers, providing immediate help to citizens and medical staff who are struggling to replace lost or destroyed equipment.
