Ship Shannon to Ireland -- Fleadh Competition

Let me start off this fundraiser by confirming that none of this money will be for me; selfish as I am.

I am reaching out to friends, family and the in-between on behalf of one of my dearest and most talented friends, Shannon Messplay. Over Mother's Day weekend, she and her family drove down to Missouri for an Irish singing competition; known as Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann. (You can find further information on the competition/festival at their website -- Fleadh Cheoil ) Shannon placed first in one of the singing competitions and is qualified to attend the festival in Ireland to compete further.

We all know how expensive travel can be. Shannon and her incredible husband, Adam, are parents to two of the most exceptional kids on Earth - Oliver and Juniper. Traveling as a family of four to another country almost seems out of the question. However, if there is anyone who should deserve to travel for her talents...it would be Shannon. She is the most thoughtful, positive, nurturing and selfless person I've ever met.

I wanted to start this fundraiser as a token of appreciation for Shannon (and her family). Anything I can do to further her success after all she has given me throughout the years is more than I could ask for in return.

Any amount of money would be a blessing for Shannon. Let's give our thanks to one of the best and brightest.
