Shining through the storm

This is a fund raiser for a 4 year old boy who has been diagnosed with a form of brain cancer that has spread down his spine! We are in need of help for him and his family as it has been hard for them to hold a job and make ends meet. Alessio was born with cerebral palsy and has a twin brother named Matteo. Alessio was vomiting continuously around the clock for months then on May 9th, Alessio had appointments for GI testing and MRI . He was then admitted and found out that he had hydrocephalus which is fluid on the brain and this could have killed him, he now has a shunt on his brain which releases the pressure build up on his brain and drains the fluid into his stomach. During the process of having this done they found a mass lesion on top of spine and brain stem and he underwent multiple procedures to find out what was going on, and that is when they found out he has brain cancer that has spread down his spine. This diagnosis is so devastating and his cancer is inoperable. Alessio is such a fun loving boy who has been fighting since birth with cerebral palsy and his family has been such a great support for him. His mother alone has spent countless hours working to make is life have the best quality, he has had special equipment, been to rehab for therapy and it never stopped there she worked with him around the clock coaching him to be his best. He knows hard work and has done hard work. please help them be with their baby boy while they work hard to save his life. While in the hospital for 11 days his parents and grandpa(Salvatore gentile) did everything to make things as normal as they could, such as having his brother come for dinner time and bath time when Alessio was well enough to take his baths. At this time Alessio needs to gain weight and then start intensive chemo treatment ASAP, we are unsure of what facility he will be recieveing chemo at. CHOP or St.Judes is where he may be a resident at. If St. Jude’s is the best option both parents and twin brother will also have to up and move to Tennessee, this option will force them to break their lease and force them to pay rent throughout their term.
It is not an option for a mother to give up and we are not gonna give up. Prayers and donations are much appreciated!
