Hi, my name is Quincy. I have been fortunate to have worked alongside of my co-worker Shaunta McCloud for over 1.5 years. As I have gotten to know her more, I have learned what an incredible woman she is. Not only is she one of the strongest people I know, but she is also a walking testimony to God’s faithfulness and miracles.

Shaunta is a hard-working, single mom of 4 boys and she is a a true warrior. She was diagnosed with Marfan’s Syndrome awhile back and has already undergone a handful of open heart surgeries. Marfan’s Syndrome is an inherited disorder that affects connective tissue. It affects the heart, eyes, blood vessels, and bones. She recently discovered that she has to have another open heart surgery right after Christmas this year.

In addition to her own health battles, one of her sons also has Marfan’s Syndrome and they found out he also needs to have open heart surgery at the beginning of next year as well.

Shaunta is not one to ask others for help, as she is an incredibly humble. However, I know that there are numerous people with giving hearts who would to help. I want Shaunta to be able to focus on healing not only herself but also her son, without the burden of financial strains that come from being off of working 2 jobs. In the spirit of giving, I would love if you would be willing to donate to help her cover any medical bills, home bills, groceries, or other necessary items. Anything helps, even if it’s only $5.
