Dear friends, family and compassionate supporters,

Our beloved mum, Ester has recently been diagnosed with cancer. She has always been the heart of our family, supporting us throughout our lives with love, sacrifice, and strength. Beyond our family, she has dedicated so much of her time to caring for others, even rescuing and looking after stray dogs in her community. Her kindness and generosity have touched many lives.

Sadly, Uganda does not have the facilities needed for her treatment, and she has had to travel all the way to India for urgent chemotherapy. This has placed her in an unexpected and very vulnerable position — far from home, away from family, and in need of constant care while going through the exhausting side effects of treatment.

As her daughters, we have been working tirelessly and have already exhausted our savings to support her travel, hospital visits, and initial care. But the costs of continued chemotherapy, accommodation in India, medication, and basic living support are overwhelming. One of us also needs to travel to India to be by her side, as she is now too weak to manage on her own.

This is why we are reaching out. Every contribution — no matter how small — will go directly towards:

• Chemotherapy sessions and related medical costs

• Accommodation and food while she undergoes treatment

• Medication and supportive therapies

• Travel costs for a family member to care for her during this critical period
