Shine On Goldfields – A Walk of Light and Love

Join us for Shine On Goldfields, a special community event where we come together in solidarity for those affected by cancer.

As the sun sets over the beautiful Kalgoorlie sky, we’ll walk together through Karlkurla Park, holding battery-operated candles as a symbol of hope, remembrance, and support. Whether you're walking in memory of a loved one, standing beside someone currently facing their battle, or simply raising awareness — your presence matters.

Battery-operated candles will be available for a small fee, with all proceeds donated to Boulder Rotary Goldfields Family Assistance Fund - which provides assistance with travel, accommodation and living expenses for families travelling away from the Goldfields for the medical treatment of a child under the age of 18. All other donations are welcome.

Let’s light up the Goldfields with love, community spirit, and a shared message: you are not alone.
