Shine a Light on Amazing African-led Startups and Rising Entrepreneurs in Africa

Now more than ever, we are realizing how interconnected we all are.  This is an epic moment to shine a light on truly inspiring leaders that are not only changing Africa, but also the world. The Builders of Africa’s Future is a cutting-edge program, created by the African Diaspora Network (ADN), that celebrates innovation and impact in early-stage African-led enterprises and shares their work on our global stage and platforms.

We are thrilled to showcase and award entrepreneurs who are addressing global challenges for a post-pandemic future.  Visionaries like Barbara Birungi, who created Women in Technology Uganda and HIVE lab to accelerate tech and business startups run by women so she wasn’t the only woman in the room at tech companies. Now, generations of young women are leading enterprises and creating real-world solutions that save lives - like a drone project that delivers blood supplies to mothers in labor in rural areas.

Innovators like Barbara need our support to grow and leapfrog solutions for the post-pandemic world. Our next round of Builder of Africa’s Future Awardees will be announced in January.  Let’s invest today in these brilliant entrepreneurs who are solving some of our planet’s toughest challenges with this exciting program - the Builders of Africa’s Future .

We are looking to raise $15,000 to increase our pool of candidates by 50%. Every dollar you contribute on this page will go toward scaling and celebrating innovation and impact in early-stage African enterprises. Your support will bring much-needed visibility to the innovators shaping our collective future. Thank you for your support!!
