Neon Solutions is a black-owned, small, family business: a cleaning company in Los Angeles, California. Founded in 2015 by Lenny Lavender and his wife, Christal, these impassioned parents (of 8) and grandparents (of 20!) invested their life-savings in order to: (1) provide the best cleaning service possible, and (2) create employment opportunities to members of the local community.
Family is at heart of Neon Solutions: just as a family operates the business, so does Neon Solutions care for each of their clients and the spaces that they clean with the love, detail, loyalty, and dedication shared with every member of their tribe. Over the past 5 years, the Lavenders have also continued to offer second chances and empower others with opportunities they create. They frequently employ survivors of domestic abuse as well as homeless individuals in transition as a means of creating stability in their lives.
Sadly, in recent weeks, the Neon Solutions storage facility and garage was robbed during the LA protests, and Lenny and Christal lost over $40,000 in large-scale cleaning supplies, including:
- 2 floor buffers
- Air compressors
- 2 pressure washers
- All tools (for all staff)
- Cleaning supplies
- Additional machinery
However, despite the increasing cleaning needs and stipulations per COVID-19, Neon Solutions has remained in business and tirelessly dedicated to their work, their standard of quality, and their clients. We'd hate for this unforeseen event to deter the amazing work of this loving, ambitious, determined Los Angeles family. The family/Neon Solutions has longstanding relationships with clients such as Live Nation Entertainment and The Belasco, all while continuing to offer street cleaning and commercial cleaning *pro-bono* to the Doors of Hope, St. Vincent, and Hope shelters in DTLA as another testament to their tireless efforts for the Los Angeles community. Please help us keep this incredible organization alive -- and allow this family and so many facilities that they support continue to shine! Any help is much appreciated. The light they bring is truly unparalleled.
