Our daughter, Winona, brought light, love, and joy to everyone who knew her. We are creating a charity in her memory — Winona’s Light — to honour her spirit and to support children with Down syndrome and other additional needs, together with their families.

Our Mission:

• To provide practical support and small grants to families caring for children with additional needs.

• To create inclusive community events that bring joy and connection.

• To raise awareness and understanding of Down syndrome so that every child is valued and included.

But to get started, we need your help.

We are raising to:

• Cover the setup and registration costs of Winona’s Light.

• Fund our very first community event, the Lantern Walk for Winona.

Provide our first grants to families in need.

Every donation, big or small, helps us shine Winona’s light a little brighter.
