Shiloh’s Brain Tumor Surgery

Hi everyone, I created this go fund me in honor of my boyfriend Mason and his dog, Shiloh, who was just diagnosed with a brain tumor.

Mason and Shiloh have been bonded at the hip since he brought her home in 2019 as a foster rescue. Of course the fostering didn’t last long, and she immediately became part of the family. True to her border collie nature, Shiloh loves loves loves to be active in any way possible. Hunting moles, chasing squirrels and deer, herding her humans, and playing with her dog friends. Shiloh has had an amazing life and her impact on Masons life has been immeasurable.

On March 10th, Mason woke up to find Shiloh unable to keep her balance while walking and an abnormal head tilt. She was brought into an urgent care vet within the hour. After staying overnight and having blood work, X-rays and an MRI, it was then discovered that she had a meningioma tumor in the back of her brain (in the cerebellum).

With no easy choice, Mason and the vets have weighed out all their options. Shiloh’s best chance at long term survival would be surgery to remove the brain tumor along with radiation and/or chemotherapy. She will also need to be put on supportive care with medications. With her being only 5 years young and otherwise extremely healthy, it raises her chances of preventing the tumor from returning.

She is scheduled for surgery March 18th 2024.

Im asking for your prayers and support for Mason and Shiloh through this journey. Any type of donation will mean a lot to them and will go directly towards her veterinary bills.
