No pain can compare to that of losing a child. On the night of 10/28, Shiloh, at only 2 months of life went limp and unresponsive in her father's arms. She was rushed to UC Davis Medical Center and spent the night in the PICU, and despite everyone's efforts, her parents Destiny Rogers and Taylor Stizzo had to take her off life support to be with her when she passed.
These two have been through so much already this year, having lost Shiloh's grandmother just a month before her birth. Destiny and Taylor both work in the Emergency Medical Field, and give all their time to others making a huge difference helping countless families every day. This time, they need us. Besides the obvious stress and grief of losing a child, the cost of a funeral and now medical bills from the hospital are things they must deal with. They have not asked for anything other than for people to respect their need for space to grieve in this terrible time. Please help this wonderful couple to try and ease their burden. We cannot begin to imagine the feelings they must be experiencing.
