Coming to a hospital can be a scary enough experience for a child. Now imagine that you aren't able to see your sweet nurse or Doctor smile while taking care of you because of the need to wear PPE to prevent Coronavirus. That is the reality Bon Secours' pediatric patients face right now. As a parent, the idea that kids could feel even more scared now breaks my heart.

Shield Pals (https://www.shieldpals.com) was created for this very reason - some innovative parents wanted to give kids a reason to smile while receiving medical treatment during these uncertain times. Shield Pals are made in Elkridge, MD and meet all of the CDC regulations for Coronavirus protection. They can be disinfected and reused safely.
