This year we got very little funding. This is an expensive project and there’s a lot of wear and tear on the ropes. We only got a fraction of what we needed and asked for. I chose to use my own money and do it anyway. The ropes now are so worn that I’d never dare use any of them again to keep a human safely suspended. Probably they’re fine for a few more years. But we take safety extremely seriously. If we don’t get full funding next year, Shibari Chill Web will not happen. And we will need to ask for a lot more than last year. Just to replace the ropes we lost.

Donations welcome. I haven't done all the paperwork But all in all I think I lost about 20 000 - 30 000 SEK with this years build. And about another 20 000 SEK in ropes we can't use (for anything other than decoration) again. It's going to take months to assess the usability of the ropes. But I think it's a fair assessement.

This is the fourth year I do this. And I have lost about 20 000 SEK each year on this project. Even when we got full funding. Just because of things I forgot to put in the budget, and we just had to buy.
