Shianne's recovery

I'm making this fundraiser to try to ease the financial burdens for my sister Crystal Nummerdor and her family during this time.

Three weeks ago my niece Shianne was having pains in her legs wich we thought were growing pains due to her being 11 years old, unfortunately it got worse took her in and found out it is Gullian-Barre Syndrome.

It's rare it attacks your nervous symptom causing lack of mobility. The last three weeks she has been in the hospital this has been very hard with having other children at home.

Shianne has always been a active normal kid who loves playing outside, running, biking and swimming. It has been a rough three weeks watching as she lose more and more mobility.

Shianne right now is not able to walk or move legs much on her own. The doctors are confident she will regain her mobile however it's going to be a long hard road. Shianne is needing alot of different therapies and one on one help throughout the day.

I know this is mentally and financially hard on my sister and her family, I'm hoping this fundraiser can help them be able to focus on Shianne more and less on how they can afford to get thru it.

Shianne will have to stay in wheelchair until they can build more core arm and leg strength. She will be traveling back and fourth between viroqua and Lacrosse for all sorts of different therapy to keep her on right path.

With the money she gets will be used to help with traveling expenses back and fourth also Shianne cannot get into a vehicle that the seat is higher the 25' from ground so I know they also have to find a car she can get into.

Shianne had been a trooper thru it all however shes getting frustrated and its taking a toll, my spunky full of life niece is now a fake smile very sad having to be in wheelchair relying on everyone else to do things that only a month ago was able to do alone.

Shianne was able to go home yesterday since she can now stand long enough for some one to pivot her to where she needs to go. I am hoping being in a home environment will help with her spirits. Can't hurt just alot more traveling for medical purposes.
