Lori Dick — known to so many of us as “Feral Grandma” — is the kind of person you don’t come across often. She’s a fighter in every sense of the word. At work, she keeps us girls in line as the office manager, but she’s so much more than that. She’s the one we lean on — a friend, a confidante, a counselor, and the steady voice when things feel overwhelming.
And when the workday ends, Lori doesn’t slow down. She heads home to her life as a devoted mother, friend, and neighbor without complaint. That’s just who she is — strong, selfless, and always showing up.
Lori loves Jesus deeply, and she loves her family even more fiercely. Her heart is as big as they come — the kind of person who would quite literally give you the britches off her behind if you needed them. She’s always the first to help someone else, never asking for anything in return.
Right now, Lori is facing a difficult and unexpected battle. She has been diagnosed with Acute Hemorrhagic Pancreatitis and doctors are struggling to find the cause. She has been hospitalized, and the road ahead is uncertain. For someone who is always taking care of everyone else, this is a moment where she needs us to rally around her.
If you know Lori, you know she would never ask for help — but that’s exactly why we’re asking on her behalf. We want to lift some of the burden she’s carrying so she can focus on what matters most: healing and being with the people she loves.
Any support — whether it’s a donation, a prayer, or simply sharing this page — means more than words can express. Let’s come together and show Lori the same love, strength, and generosity she has given to all of us.
