From a Husband’s Heart ❤️

My name is Charles Davis, and I am reaching out with a plea I never thought I’d have to make.

Doctors found a 6 cm mediastinal mass in my wife’s chest. It has grown to the point where it is pressing on her heart, diaphragm, and lung base, causing severe pain, shortness of breath, and dangerous pressure on vital organs. As on December 2025, it has ruptured and my wife has had a heart attack and other secondary complications.

On top of this, her blood work has shown a concerning pattern of abnormalities over the past two years. In January, she will begin a hematology follow‑up at Texas Oncology to investigate these results and determine the next steps in her care. This means not only facing the mass itself, but also uncovering what these blood trends may reveal about her overall health.

I’ve always worked hard to provide for my wife and our granddaughter. Family is everything to me. But right now, I’m facing something I can’t fix with hard work alone. I want her to be strong, healthy, and here with us. Our granddaughter needs her grandmother. I need my wife. She is the rock of our family, and losing her is something I cannot imagine.

We are asking for help to cover the medical and living expenses that are overwhelming us. Every donation, every share, every prayer helps us fight for her life and keep our family whole.

Our out‑of‑pocket maximum for medical expenses beginning January 1st is $10,000. This amount will be immediately applied toward the advocate maximum so that we can schedule surgical intervention immediately, without a longer financial delay.
