Hi, my name is Kasa, and I’m fundraising to send my little sister back to school in Cambodia.
She’s only six years old. But she’s already had to stop learning because my mum can’t afford to keep her in school anymore. No child should ever have to give up their education at six especially not when all she wants to do is learn.
This isn’t about extras or luxuries. This is about basic education.
Just one year. One year of tuition, school supplies, books, food, that’s what the $1,200 is for. It’s not the whole world. Just a tiny piece of hope that she deserves.
Even $100 would cover a month. That’s how close she is to going back.
My little sister used to wake up early every morning, excited to go to school. She’d do her homework right when she got home. She was that eager.
But one day, she stayed home. I asked her why, and she just said:
“Mum says we can’t afford it anymore.”
That really broke me. And I’m not okay with it.
She’s kind, curious and intelligent. She already has dreams, and big ones at that, like becoming a teacher. I refuse to let those dreams die just because we’re too poor to give her the chance to try.
I’ve since learned that public schools here are technically free. But in reality? That “free” comes with strings: hidden fees, overcrowded classrooms, underpaid teachers, no real support, I know as I’ve gone through them myself when I lived in Cambodia.
Last year my mum found a school that can gave her the kind of education she deserves. It’s called PAMA and it’s not free. But it’s safe. It’s structured. It’ll actually teach her, support her, protect her. That’s why I’m asking for help.
If you can give anything—even $5—you’re helping change her life. And if you can’t donate, just sharing this means the world to us.
You’re not just sending a little girl to school.
You’re reminding her that she matters. That she’s not invisible.
And that maybe, just maybe, the world isn’t always as cruel as it seems.
Thank you for reading.
With all my heart,
Kasa ❤️
