Help Havana Walk Strong Again
Our brave 10-year-old Havana is undergoing life-changing multilevel leg surgery today — involving metal plates and screws in her hips, along with major operations on her knees and calves, all in one complex procedure. This surgery will give her the best possible chance to walk strong, live without pain, and enjoy the childhood every child deserves.
The journey ahead will be long and challenging. Over the next year, Havana will require intensive rehabilitation and physiotherapy, including extended stays in Melbourne. While some travel and accommodation costs will be subsidised, many significant expenses will remain — including additional time off work beyond available leave, essential home modifications for safety and accessibility, specialised recovery equipment, and more than a year of physiotherapy sessions multiple times each week to support her recovery.
Tam and Micka would never ask for help themselves, which is why we, their family who love them, have created this page — to help lighten their load. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward Havana’s recovery and ensuring her home is ready to welcome her back with comfort and care.
If you’re unable to contribute financially, we would be so grateful if you could share this page or keep Havana in your thoughts and prayers. Your kindness will help her step into this next chapter with strength, hope, and her beautiful smile.
With heartfelt gratitude,
