Hi, my name is James.

I'm setting up this Go Fund me page , for a dear person who's worked her whole life since age 15, who's self employed with no insurence to fall back on.

She's an immigrant from Romania. She came here to make a life for her self in her early 20's she has worked hard her whole life coming from very extreme humble beginnings..

Facing lots of adversity. from being abused by her first husband when she came to Canada, and thrown out in the cold, in the middle of winter, with just 20 dollars in her pocket.. And barely speaking the language she had to make many sacrifices in getting her life together at such great odds against her..

But with strong will and the Grace of God she managed to get a place to stay in a women's shelter. and working hard to put her self through school to learn the language [ English] and becoming a Canadian citizen.. doing what ever jobs she could from cleaning houses to working as a waitress in various places to put her self through college to learn and get a degree as an Esthetician.

Working for several different spas and treatment centers, saving as much money as she can to buy a house, and eventually start her own business.

Only to have it come crashing down with a terrible diagnosis of Stage 2 Breast Cancer in June of 2024, having to undergo surgery to remove a large 5cm tumor from her right breast Having a Lumpectomy in August 2024, and heal from that surgery and reconstruction surgery.

Only to move on to one of the most Potent Chemotherapy treatments, which are very nasty and cause many problems such as sickness and tremendous weakness in body and pain in bones due to other drugs such as Lepelga to try to increase white blood cell count to fight off infections from low immune system from the Chemotherapy, that she has to under go ltreatments for 4 months..

Then she has to move on to Radiation Therapy for at least 3 full weeks , and then on to Hormonotherapy for the next 5 to 10 years..

So as of such, Nicky has had to basically give up working as an Esthetician, as she cant expose her self to clients to often in fear of infection from others.. So her ability to earn money has been drastically reduced in a very negative way. she still has to pay rent in her business to keep her rental unit as well as pay all her usual monthly bills and groceries and medical expenses, she does not own a car or drive so there's also the challenge of getting to appointments and treatments..

she has some small support from a dear friend but not enough to keep her going over the next 9 months or so of treatment and recovery, not to mention the indignity of looking forward to loosing her hair due to the harsh Chemotherapy treatments..

But hoping to God she survives and beats this dreaded disease!!
