This ICU Nurse Needs Your Help

On Easter Sunday my wife and I went on a motorcycle ride. It was a beautiful day in Julian. Apple pie and cinnamon ice cream... Doesn't get any better than that!
We were riding home on a desert highway through Ocotillo Springs. We never made it....On our way home , my wife crashed her trike.
There was no cell phone service and on this usually deserted Highway, by some miracle, a truck came by and was able to help us.
My beautiful wife was laying there, covered in dirt and broken. I felt helpless! She has spent her life and career taking care of and helping others. I couldn't do anything to help her...but wait for the paramedics.
She was Life Flighted to Palomar Trauma Center. She was diagnosed with a crushed sternum 5 broken ribs and shattered her vertabrae, causing it to push up towards her sternum. 2 days later she underwent emergency surgery to repair the damage. 5 days later an infection set in. MSSA a treatable form of staph infection. Shes been fighting it and bedridden since. 3+wks seem like forever. So here we are....
Her youngest of 3 before the age of 1, was diagnosed with Cancer. 5yrs later he beat it. Shortly there after, her then husband, became disabled. Through all of that she provided for her family and pursued her education in Nursing. To this day she financially maintains the home for her 2 kids and ex-husband, as ordered by the court in the divorce.
Shortly after leaving her husband, we met in September 2015. While she continued nursing, she pursued her Masters and got her degree In March 2016.
In Oct with my best friends Kevin and Maria I married "My Beautiful Everything" in a private ceremony on the beach in San Diego.
We left Tucson for Yuma, so she could pursue her dreams in Nursing. I quit my job as a successful hairstylist in Tucson, to support her while she became an educator at GCU and continued as an ICU Nurse at YRMC.
I tell you all this so that you can see how remarkable and selfless this woman is, and why I fell in love with her.
We need help... Sometimes, you have to ask when there's no other alternatives. Only being in Yuma 5mths our benefits are running out. We've called in our favors from friends and family.
Now we turn to you and the generosity of strangers. Please... Whatever you can do...how ever much you are willing to give...
Every little bit helps....
